Cryptojacking is a cybercrime consisting of secretly exploiting the computing power of the victim’s devices to generate cryptocurrency for the benefit of cyber criminals.

This is done by means of cryptojacking malware that runs processes in the background, stealing hardware resources to the detriment of the user.
